Packard Automotive Is Proud To Support The Community During This Time of Uncertainty
Updated: Apr 1, 2020
Packard Automotive is showing our support for the community by dedicating our Saturday hours to serving one group particularly vulnerable to COVID-19, the elderly.
“We are humbled by our customer’s loyalty and we take our responsibility to our customers, employees, and our community very seriously.” said Packard Owner, Edina Rusitovski. “From the onset of this situation, we have been listening to the appropriate sources for accurate and up-to-date information, and our preparedness plan reflects those inputs. We are committed to being responsive to the needs of our employees, customers, and industry partners as the COVID-19 situation evolves.”
“We will work with the staff of local senior living centers to coordinate pick up & drop-off of vehicles for elderly customers to minimize their risk of exposure to this pandemic. We will disinfect the steering wheel when we return their vehicles to help ensure that our elderly customers are not exposed to COVID-19 by our employees,” said Ted Carr, Operations Manager at Packard Automotive.
Owner, Edina Rusitovski wants to do this to help the community and also to honor her late husband, Spendi Rusitovski’s legacy, who had a significant philanthropic impact in Cudahy, promoting the need for trades and apprenticeships to young people, among other efforts in the community.
Rusitovski hopes that other local businesses will survive through this pandemic and will do whatever they can to help support the community through this crisis.
